Jermain’s S2000

As time goes by, things come and go. Finally I am making a move on my pictures. Here are some shots of a Jermain’s s2000 from the SMG crew. If you haven’t already seen the feature of Dylan’s Del Slo from the SMG crew, check it out here.
Read the rest after the jump!
Originally, the car that was supposed to be shot was just Dylan’s Del Sol, but as the scheduled time came closer, everyone got more and more anxious. The next thing I know, I get a text from Dylan asking if two of his buddies can come along. I’m thinking, ‘Most definitely, the more the merrier’, but come to find out, his buddies had a Supra and a Corvette. I was in shock. My eyes frowned, processing the thoughts that were going through my mind… ‘wtf? This is going to be nuts!’ As I go to meet up with the group, I meet Dylan in the parking lot waiting alone. I think to myself that the others bailed on him, but he then goes to tell me that they are probably meeting up elsewhere and will roll in together. The next thing I know, I see three cars heading towards us. Well you can already guess what the third was… Jermain’s s2000…
Jermain is no stranger to Honda S2000s. This is his second one and bought his first around the time when it was originally released; Back when many were still kids and the S2000 made its first appearance. Yeah, thats about how long he’s been acquainted with them…
The current set up on his AP2 is a pretty drastic drop, but not the lowest it has seen, with an OEM hard top, an OEM front lip as well as some basic engine modifications. Oh how s2’s look so good with hard tops. I just can’t get over them. His projection for his s2 was to keep it simple with a clean look which was definitely executed well. He also doesn’t mind how fun the car is stock as he only opted to swap out the exhaust and intake, but oh does the car sound much better.
The s2000 is one of those few cars which look great with OEM parts and Jermain knows that fact which is why he opted for OEM parts. Some may ask why he didn’t go for the Spoon top or anything extraordinary, but he has reasons for things that he has and has not done on the car. When you see the car rolling around on the streets, you’ll know what the this car is about. The car is simply flawless and pretty much the best you’ll get if your aim is simplicity. Its a sort of balance between an OEM and after market look while retaining to authentic Honda sports car look. Be on the look out for his car prowling the streets near you and don’t be surprised that he won’t be pulled over doing so either!
Once again, shout outs to Jermain for featuring his car on SpeedHawaii and big ups to the SMG crew for holding it down nicely!
If you or your crew want your cars featured on SpeedHawaii, send an email to *submit2speedhawaii@gmail.com*! If need be, we can even set up a photoshoot to do so just like we did with the SMG crew!
