Sorry for making everyone wait for so long but we finally got something up from last weekend’s Old School JDM Meet!  We got so many high quality pictures,  it was taking forever to process!  Enjoy part 1 till we finish part 2 of the pictures.

Plush leather seats, 12 speaker sound systems, Bluetooth, navigation systems and power everything. The amount of technology that gets packed into a modern day vehicle is staggering. For some people, the new car tech is the greatest thing in the world… But for others, nothing beats 20, 30, or even 40 year old “J-tin”. To the lovers of vintage Japanese cars (and I’m sure the majority of classic car owners in general), they don’t mind inhaling a bit of exhaust fumes… Or building their biceps by muscling around a car with no power steering.

On Sunday, a small group of these diehard enthusiasts converged in Waipio for a meet. Despite the changing weather, a good variety of cars came out to play. From bone stock to race cars of all different Japanese marquees, everyone had a good time. Club Lexus was also there and joined the group for a cruise down to Hawaii Kai for lunch and afterwards a few went cruising elsewhere.

Much mahalos to those who came down… Now enjoy the pictures! 56K users got make a sandwich!
